About the Sigenergy SigenStor
The Sigenergy SigenStor is an all-in-one home energy system — a solar inverter, a modular battery, optional integrated EV charging and whole-home backup in a single stacked unit, managed by one controller and the mySigen app. It is modular, so you start with the capacity you need and add 6 and 9 kWh battery modules as your usage grows, and it supports single- and three-phase supplies natively.
For the full breakdown, see our dedicated Sigenergy SigenStor page for full specifications, the Tesla Powerwall 3 comparison and pricing guidance. This page is about getting one professionally installed in the North East.
Sigenergy Installer in the North East
ALPS Electrical is a family-run, MCS-certified installer based in Yarm, covering Teesside, County Durham and North Yorkshire. We were an early adopter of the Sigenergy SigenStor in the North East, and we have two complete SigenStor installations documented start-to-finish on our YouTube channel — including a full slate-roof solar-and-battery install and a whole-home backup system on Teesside.
Andy Pemberton surveys every property personally. That matters with a system like this, because the SigenStor is not the right answer for every home — and we will tell you when a simpler battery would serve you just as well for less money. We are Tesla Certified as well, so our advice is not tied to one product. We hold hundreds of top-rated reviews across Checkatrade and Google and were named a Checkatrade Sustainability Champion in 2024.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. ALPS is a Tesla Certified Installer and also installs and commissions the Sigenergy SigenStor, so our advice is not tied to one brand. At survey we recommend whichever system fits your home and budget — a fixed-capacity Tesla Powerwall 3 or a modular, three-phase-capable SigenStor — not whichever we would rather sell.
As a guide, a full solar-and-battery SigenStor system is typically £10,000–£13,500 installed with 0% VAT; storage-only or retrofit configurations cost less and the optional DC EV-charging module costs more. Every quote is fixed and confirmed after Andy has surveyed your property.
The SigenStor hardware carries Sigenergy's manufacturer warranty, and ALPS provides lifetime aftercare on the installation workmanship — one number to call if anything ever needs attention. Exact warranty terms are confirmed in your written quote.
