Checkatrade
We are a Checkatrade Verified member. When you leave a review on Checkatrade, your name and review content are published on our Checkatrade profile and may be displayed on our website. Checkatrade processes data in accordance with their own privacy policy. We may share your contact details with Checkatrade for the purpose of requesting a review following completion of work.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use our website. GA4 collects anonymised data about page views, session duration, traffic sources and user interactions. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this information. Data is processed by Google LLC in accordance with their privacy policy. IP anonymisation is enabled. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by managing your cookie preferences.
YouTube Embeds
Our website embeds YouTube videos showcasing our installations. We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) where possible, which does not set tracking cookies until you actively play a video. When you play an embedded video, YouTube (Google LLC) may collect data including your IP address and viewing history in accordance with their privacy policy.
MCS and NAPIT
For MCS certified solar and battery installations, we are required to submit installation data to the MCS database. This includes your name, address, installation details and system specifications. This data sharing is a legal requirement for MCS certification and compliance with consumer protection schemes. NAPIT receives notification of notifiable electrical work for Building Regulations compliance.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected. Specific retention periods are:
- Enquiry data: 2 years from the date of last contact if no contract is entered into.
- Contract and installation data: 7 years from completion for tax and legal compliance, plus the duration of any applicable warranty period.
- Electrical certificates and MCS documentation: Retained indefinitely as these are lifetime records for the property.
- Website analytics data: 26 months (Google Analytics default retention period).

Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights:

- Right to rectification: You may request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
